A family law specialist, Hannah has extensive experience of working with parents, grandparents and children in care proceedings, as well in contact disputes. Hannah is an accredited member of the Children’s Panel.

Originally from Sunderland, she graduated from Northumbria University in 2016 with an M/Law Exempting Degree. While studying, Hannah worked in the property litigation department of a large Newcastle firm, and continued there for a short period post-graduation as a paralegal.

In 2017, Hannah moved to Cumbria to complete her training contract at Bendles’ Carlisle office, qualifying in 2019.

She has been a member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme since May 2024 and sits on the Cumbria Local Family Justice Board.

As Training Principle at Bendles, Hannah leads the firm’s in-house training programme and works closely with the University of Cumbria to support students and provide valuable insight into the legal profession.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys watching Sunderland A.F.C, Formula 1 and American Football, as well as travelling and spending time with friends and family.
