The Newcastle upon Tyne Law Society held its first meeting on the 27th January 1826. We have served solicitors in the North East of England since that time and have promoted professional expertise for over 190 years. We have representatives on many local, regional and national legal committees, have a wide-ranging legal education programme and run a number of social events including the Newcastle Law Dinner.
