Debra qualified in 1992 after serving a period of articles with T. Robson. Initially employed as an assistant solicitor with Evans Robson, she became a partner in 1994 at the inception of Evans & Co.

She initially covered a very general range of legal work associated with high street practice but for many years has concentrated on commercial property, business, and charity matters.

She has also developed an interest in training and has studied and completed a PGCE in post 16 Education and Training. She lives by the mantra ’every day is a school day’.

Debra is the current Senior Partner, and part of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for compliance and training.

Debra is a non-Executive Director of Spennymoor Town FC, a Community Governor at Springmoor Grange Primary School in Spennymoor, Trustee of the Advanced Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust and sits as the business representative on the board of All Together for Spennymoor.

Outside of work, Debra likes to travel, enjoys gardening, good food and live entertainment including attending the theatre, music and sporting events.
