Following a major refurbishment in March 2026 to mark their 10th anniversary, Dobson & Parnell unveiled a reimagined space and a menu centred on elevated British dining on Newcastle Quayside. The relaunch introduced an open kitchen, a more social layout and a flexible approach to modern dining.

The open kitchen brings guests closer to the action, creating a relaxed, social dining experience that celebrates the very best of the North East. Seasonal ingredients, subtle global influences and vibrant menus sit at the heart of the kitchen. From shareable small plates to communal feasts, every dish reflects the sustainable, nose-to-tail philosophy.

Set within a beautifully restored Victorian warehouse on Newcastle Quayside, the restaurant blends classical elegance with a warm, contemporary feel. Polished wood, exposed brick and rich tones create a relaxed atmosphere where guests can settle in, share great food and enjoy modern British dining in one of Newcastle’s most distinctive dining rooms.

The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, and Sunday for lunch, serving an excellent value seasonal menu and much-loved Sunday roast.
