“We are delighted that the Law Society has chosen Smart Works North East and Suitability as joint Charity partners this year.  Our organisations are aligned with the same mission; to support unemployed people across the North East to break down the barrier of confidence and interview clothing. Partnering with The Law Society will help us to reach more people and increase our impact across the region.  It’s a powerful partnership and we are so excited to begin our work together.” Helen Boyd – Head of Smart Works North East

 Smart Works Mission Statement:

Smart Works North East exists to empower all unemployed women who need support getting into work through the power of high-quality interview clothing and one to one coaching. Our service is run by 40 volunteer stylists and coaches who are experienced and compassionate individuals, dedicated to breaking down the main barrier for women getting into the workplace – confidence. Women are referred by job centres, employment schemes, shelters, mental health charities, and many other places. We are proud to say that 98% of our clients say that Smart Works has increased their chance of getting a job. 68% of clients get a job after visiting Smart Works.
