New appointments

New Park Court Chambers is delighted to announce that Matthew Donkin was sworn in as King’s Counsel at the Appointment Ceremony at Westminster Hall before the Lord Chancellor. Matthew’s appointment brings the total number of Silks at New Park Court Chambers to 17.

New Park Court Chambers CEO, Rob Wagg, said, “This appointment recognises Matthew’s exceptional advocacy, expertise and standing at the Bar, where he is trusted to conduct cases at the highest level. It is a testament to Matthew’s heavyweight practice, which has been built on continuous hard work, and everyone at New Park Court Chambers congratulates him on this well-deserved achievement. Thank you to all those who supported the appointment process and our clients who have instructed Matthew in his career to date”.

Additionally, New Park Court is pleased to announce that Mukul Chawla KC has joined chambers as a Door Tenant.

Mukul Chawla KC was called to the Bar in 1983 and appointed KC in 2001. In addition to being ranked in Crime and Financial Crime, he is a former Head of Chambers and Chambers & Partners Crime Silk of the Year. Alongside his Door Tenancy, he will retain his consultancy role with global law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP where he was formally a partner and head of the White Collar Crime Group for Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
