Newcastle-based New Park Court Chambers has an award-winning year

Newcastle and Leeds-based barrister set New Park Court Chambers has had a great year flying the flag for the North East legal sector, with several prestigious award wins and directory rankings.

In Chambers & Partners UK Bar Guide 2026, New Park Court Chambers was recognised as a leading set for Crime, Inquests & Inquiries and Professional Discipline, and individual members were also recognised for Environment, Financial Crime and Health and Safety.

Jason Pitter KC was also named the winner in the category of Crime Silks at the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2025, reflecting Jason’s exceptional advocacy, dedication, and standing within the profession.

The strength and depth of New Park Court Chambers’ members was also recognised by The Legal 500 2026 edition across multiple practice areas, with the directory describing the chambers as ‘an excellent set, which provides elite barristers at the top of each of its practice groups.’ New Park Court Chambers had 3 new Silks listed in The Legal 500, and an increase to 38 individual rankings in Professional Disciplinary Law, Family, Crime, Business & Regulatory Crime, and Inquests & Inquiries.

As well as success with the legal directories, New Park Court Chambers was also named 'Chambers of the Year’ at the LexisNexis Legal Awards 2025.
