The Newcastle and North of England Law Society is delighted to announce that they are hosting their first seminar in collaboration with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) on Thursday 4th of June 2026 from 2.00pm - 5.00pm. This is kindly being hosted by our President, Lesley Fairclough at Ward Hadaway, Sandgate House, 102 Quayside.

Confirmed speakers are

• Rebecca Roscoe - Solicitor and Founder of RJR Legal will discuss BPR/APR and Declarations of Trust updating on recent developments. 
• Stephanie Kerr – Partner at Irwin Mitchell and full member of the Association of Contentious Trust & Probate Specialists will give an update on the important topic of Larke v Nugus requests. Firstly, outlining important points of practice, such as GDPR and duties owed to clients, what happened in Larke v Nugus, and how to respond to a Larke v Nugus request, highlighting that will drafters are material witnesses.
• Accountant - we will also hear from a leading Accountant
