The Newcastle and North of England Law Society would like to invite our Tyne Valley & Northumberland Solicitors to a lunch time meeting with our incoming President, Lesley Fairclough, on Thursday 18th June 2026 at Bouchon Bistro, 4-6 Gilesgate, Hexham, NE46 3NJ start time 12.30pm for 1pm. Lesley joined Ward Hadaway in 1990 as an Articled Clerk and qualified as a solicitor in 1992. She specialises in commercial property, with a particular focus on residential, commercial and mixed-use development work for landowners and developers. As Head of Department, Lesley leads Ward Hadaway’s award-winning Housing Department, a team of more than 100 people operating across Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham. She is also a member of the firm’s Management Board, with responsibility for the firm’s strategic direction and overall success.

This meeting is an opportunity for local solicitors to meet our President, raise any matters of concern and hear about what the Society has been doing on your behalf.
