Ask the Expert - your AML Challenges solved - MLRO & COLP Dinner
The Newcastle and North of England Law Society, in partnership with Amiqus, invites MLROs and COLPs to an exclusive evening of fine dining and peer-to-peer discussion.
This will be held on Monday 23rd March 2026 from 6.30pm at Blackfriars Restaurant.
A full invitation can be found here, limited to 16 people.
This dinner offers a unique opportunity to sit down with one of the UK’s leading authorities on legal sector AML.
The evening is hosted under Chatham House Rules, providing a private, relaxed environment to share experiences and debate the real-world challenges facing the legal sector's compliance community.
We are delighted to be joined by Graham MacKenzie, Director of AML & Economic Crime Risk at Amiqus. Graham joined Amiqus from the Law Society of Scotland, where he served as Head of AML. His expertise is unparalleled:
- LSAG Architect: Graham chaired the group responsible for the 2020 rewrite of the Treasury-approved LSAG Guidance.
- Cross-Regulator Expert: He co-authored guidance alongside the SRA and the Law Society of England & Wales.
- Policy Leader: As former chair of the UK AML Supervisor’s forum, he has worked extensively with the Government and law enforcement on UK-wide legal risks.
