North East Law Centre (NELC)

Senior Solicitor (Immigration)

Location: Newcastle but travel throughout the North East will be required

Term: Permanent

Full time: 37hrs pw (Part-time hours will be considered)

Salary: £38000 - £48000 (depending on experience)

The successful candidate must be an experienced Immigration Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE, with IAAS accredited at Level 2 Senior Caseworker Level and also hold Supervisor status. Excellent knowledge of UK asylum and immigration law, policies and practice; excellent advocacy, verbal, drafting and interpersonal skills; high standard of client care; good organisational skills; ability to produce consistently high-quality work as he/she will be expected to manage his/her own workload.
