The CLSA conference will take place at the Grand Hotel, York from 10.00 to 16.00 on 3rd November 2023.  Jonathan Cousins from Hay and Kilner is the Association's current Vice Chair. He has asked us to publicise this event.

The Conference is your opportunity to debate the ongoing challenges facing the profession, learn about new products and services, and socialise with fellow delegates. This year they are hosting a drinks reception at the Rooftop bar, Sora, at the Malmaison, York, next to the conference venue. 

They are looking at a more practical conference, focussed on how criminal practitioners can survive with the continued collapse of the Criminal Justice System and retain access to justice .

Speakers include Richard Atkinson Vice President of the Law Society of England and Wales, Daniel Bonich CLSA Chair, HH Judge Jeremy Richardson KC and HH Judge Deborah Taylor, Chair Criminal Legal Aid Advisory Board.
