Our Society represents and promotes the interests of solicitors, particularly those practising in our constituency area which runs from Berwick upon Tweed down to Durham City including Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, the counties of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and parts of County Durham. Full membership is available to anybody who is a qualified solicitor.
The membership fee is dependent upon the applicant's role and position, as follows:

| Solicitor from a firm or local authority that has already paid one of the corporate rates set out below | £0.00 |
| Life Membership for Consultants/Retired Members (one off payment) | £80.00 |
